AF Pittsburgh Hosted Gambling Event

On March 12, AF Pittsburgh hosted 20 young professionals including professor Matt Ryan from Duquesne University and Brandon McGinely with the PA Family Institute to discuss the role government should play in gambling. The speakers explained that gambling has always been a part of society and those opposed to it are largely the minority. While all agreed government is generally a poor regulator and that heavy regulation breeds corruption, there was broad disagreement on how to handle the societal costs of gambling addicts.
