The city of Austin has dropped from #1 to #40 as best cities to live in 4 short years. Come learn why and what we can do to stop the drop!

From 2017-2019, the U.S. News & World Report’s list of Best Cities to Live in the U.S. continuously ranked Austin as Number 1.

How did we drop so dramatically? Why? Do those of us that live here feel satisfied that this report is accurate? Do you love our city and want to get real about how we can improve?

Join AF-Austin this year as we focus on what went wrong and how we can get back to the W! As Austinites with teeth in the game, we know that we have to ACT to turn the tides and most importantly, to bring light to everything Austin does right!

We will meet at Central Machine Works in East Austin and learn about the process of getting a citizen initiative on the ballot. Provided for every guest who signs up through Eventbrite will include two drink tickets – and we have limited availability so sign up ASAP.
