If you are an intern or are a young professional new to DC we would like to officially welcome you to Washington! Welcome to Washington is the gold standard of intern events. Our Summer 2023 event sold out quickly and we expect this one to as well.

A DC intern staple, Welcome to Washington is one part professional development and one part networking. We have assembled an expert lineup of panelists to answer your burning career questions:

– How do I make a good impression during my internship?
– How do I secure an internship for next year?
– How can I find a job after college in DC?
– What are the best things to do in DC while I’m here?

Your evening will begin with a panel discussion moderated by AF-DC Hub Director Addison Patrick. There will be a brief Q&A, followed by a reception with heavy hors d’oeuvres. This event will feature a signature mocktail!
