About the speaker:

Meredith Turney is the Director of Strategic Communications for State Policy Network’s Leadership Development Initiative. She oversees SPN’s internal and external communications strategy, as well as assists SPN affiliates in developing effective and compelling messaging. Her love for communicating the principles of freedom led Meredith to become involved in politics and public policy at the tender age of fifteen. She has served as the Legislative Liaison for Capitol Resource Institute in Sacramento, California Communications Director for Americans for Prosperity, a columnist for Townhall.com and spokesperson for Craig James for U.S. Senate. Meredith is a graduate of the Torrey Honors Institute at Biola University, and received her juris doctorate, with cum laude honors, from Oak Brook College of Law. Meredith is an avid country music fan who enjoys yoga, Pilates, college football and spending time with family.
