The importance of education in a free society cannot be overstated. In 1824 Thomas Jefferson wrote that “the qualifications for self-government in society are not innate. They are the result of habit and long training.”

The Learn Liberty team at the Institute for Humane Studies believes that teaching people what it means and what it takes to live in liberty is essential if we want to move towards a freer and more prosperous society. What is the most effective way to reach people with the ideas of liberty and change the world?
