Meet Aaron Castillo-White, our New California Hub Director!
Meet our new AF-California Hub Director, Aaron Castillo-White! Aaron is a Los Angeles-based consultant and Founding Executive Director of Kultur Mercado, an organization working to advance liberty and democracy through its diversity.
He has worked in policy, fundraising, and programming across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. Aaron holds bachelor’s degrees in Politics and Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz where he founded Slugs for Liberty, and a Master’s in Environmental Policy from Tel Aviv University. In his free time, he can be found translating from Yiddish or Spanish, making art with his wife or, out with friends at a park or trail.

1. What do you do for work?
I am the Executive Director of Kultur Mercado, as well as a fundraising and communications consultant. I’m also, of course, the Hub Director of AF-California!
2. Career advice in three words?
Don’t fear failure.

Leadership is having a clear vision and inspiring others who share it.
