No libruls on the teevees
Phil Donahue got fired from his political talk show simply for being too liberal.
To which I say: wait, what? You mean the fact that he was drawing fewer than half a million viewers–compared to Bill O’Reilly’s 2.7 million during the same stretch–wasn’t a factor at all? If being a know-nothing liberal was a problem at MSNBC, Keith Olbermann would have been out on his can years ago. But he pulls in above-average ratings for the network. So he doesn’t get fired. It’s amazing how that works out. It’s cute when liberals try to play the aggrieved minority card in terms of television analysts. Cute, and obviously absurd.
