Only in America could a man like this even find work

Roland Martin is right that Barack Obama is an inspiration, for showing the world what a smart, eloquent black man can accomplish in America. But then there’s the irony of Martin himself, who shows the world what a vapid, inarticulate black man can accomplish in America.

You’ve gotta hand it to CNN. With iReport, you too can be a reporter, but at least your material goes through some kind of editorial filter. Martin just posts whatever inanities happen into his mind. Who honestly cares what he has to say? You might as well ask a homeless guy who’s playing with himself.
