Ted Cruz on Intellectual Property
We need to vigorously protect intellectual property, argues Senator Ted Cruz. He describes a recent case defending the intellectual property of a small business against the overreaching arm of a large corporation. He also voices his personal frustration with the Senate and their lack of focus on jobs and the economy despite the overwhelming evidence that this is far and away what the public cares about most. He then takes time to describe what he personally loves about the free market system including Joseph Schumpeter’s “creative destruction” and the incredible mobility that comes with liberty and a free market and enables individuals to work hard and make use of their talents to the best of their ability.
