The only way this would make me madder is if I were an Iranian leader. I’d be out in the cold, while Pakistan created the Taliban, built and tested multiple nuclear weapons, harbored the senior leadership of al-Qaeda and allowed it to train and regroup on its territory, and then got rewarded with billions of dollars in aid.

Can anyone think of another time when one of our allies issued a standing order to shoot our troops on sight and we rewarded it with $7.5 billion in aid over the next five years?
