Voiceover King, R.I.P.

By: David Donadio

In a world where the previews are better than the movies, one man practiced his own brand of cinematic marketing.

Don LaFontaine didn’t play by the rules. He didn’t read his victims their rights. And the only thing that kept them safe…was that he couldn’t find them. Don was a tough guy, and the last thing he needed was a 12-year old Israeli anorexic. But that’s what he got.

Now Don is on his way to the big place in the sky, a land full of hookers with hearts of gold, Elvis impersonators, a pint-sized football player and a precocious canine. Rest in peace, Voiceover King.
