You can probably drop that question mark now

Andrew’s had a series of posts asking “Do the photos show rape?” They’re in regards to the detainee photos that President Obama has refused to release. The original story from Scott Horton is here. The latest post from Andrew is here. Scott Horton has retracted his story and the Pentagon has denied the allegations, as Andrew has noted. So I think it’s fair to say that the answer is “No, they don’t.” You could probably drop that question mark in the hed. Might I ask that we also drop the provocative rumor-mongering? Remember what happened the last time a provocative, unsubstantiated rumor hit the Arab street? I bet Michael Isikoff does:
