And speaking of feminism…

Here’s some free advice to any males out there: if the subject of Sarah Palin comes up, and there’s a female in the vicinity, do try to look suitably outraged. Do not blow it off or try to downplay the significance of such an underqualified female VP candidate.

Don’t say, “it’s not that big a deal.” Or “it’s just politics.” Or “can we talk about something else, please?” Or “no habla ingles.”

Do not under any circumstances attempt to compare Palin to Hillary Clinton in terms of potential damage to feminism, etc.

No fewer than six females have taught me this in the past week alone. I only wish for others to benefit from the wisdom of my experience.
