Peter Lipsett Joins AF’s Board of Directors

By: AF Editors

At America’s Future, we strive to cultivate a nationwide network of young professionals who believe that happy and fulfilling lives are built by free and empowered individuals, and that key to this is the power of community and civil society. We’re dedicated to bringing innovative and visionary leaders on board who share this vision to help expand our impact in communities across the country and reach more and more young leaders with the message of liberty.

We’re excited to announce that Peter Lipsett has joined the AF board of directors.

Peter LipsettPeter Lipsett is vice president at DonorsTrust, the community foundation of the liberty movement. He also leads the effort to grow DonorsTrust’s Novus Society, a network of donors under 40 committed to growing their philanthropic network and know-how. Previously, Peter spent nearly a decade within the Koch organizations as part of the team building a unique donor network. Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Peter moved to the Washington, DC, area after a year on a congressional campaign. He graduated from Davidson College and has an MBA from George Mason University. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Springfield, Virginia, and is an impassioned Atlanta Braves fan, avid podcast listener, underperforming runner, and steady reader of U.S. presidential biographies.

“We are thrilled to have Peter join the AF board,” said Executive Director Cindy Cerquitella. “Peter’s work to engage young professionals in philanthropy and civil society is inspirational, and we welcome his insights to AF’s strategic vision.”

Peter writes, “Without America’s Future Foundation, there would be a tragic gap between the strong organizations cultivating a love of liberty at the college level and the great groups around the country that do it for what is too often an older crowd. In the cities where AF has a presence, that gap is covered, and I’m excited to be involved as the organization grows to engage even more of up-and-coming leaders in business, policy, communication, and philanthropy.”

Peter also writes a monthly column for AF’s blog with tips and advice for young professionals on how to kickstart their personal giving.

Please join us in welcoming Peter!
